Seems like a good choice to me. 100-120hp in a cart should be an unholy tire roasting monstrosity. A Predator engine is a nice modest start for your first engine project, and they're packaged right for fitting on a small go-kart. They can be modified, some to even run high rpm, high compression etc.

The RHB31 VZ21 is for engines that are 125cc to 600cc. There are only a small handful of builds using this turbo but none on a go kart. The only one I could find real details on was a 150cc scooter, and the turbo made 6psi of boost on it.
